Characters can be anyone or anything! It doesn’t have to be a person, it can be a little mouse, a roaring lion, or a wrench in a toolbox. As long as it is personified, it is seen as a Character. If your main character (for example, a mouse) is holding a piece of cheese, the cheese is not seen as a character, but merely an object. Details and limitations on objects varies depending on the package.
