Such pieces are almost impossible to repair and frequently involve 're-design' (as in cutting off the sanded through area) or making a speculative, difficult repair which can be difficult to hide. You will most likely be inclined to purchase another piece of furniture to replace the difficult-to-repair veneer thus creating a bigger eco footprint. Solid wood furniture can be used for many years and look better with age.

TAKING CARE OF MAHOGANY WOOD

Finished, indoor mahogany needs very little maintenance. ( Table wax and other furniture cleaners work well.) You'll want to dust with a soft cloth every once and a while, unless the wood has been aged. Aged mahogany should be polished with a wax to help maintain the wood. Outdoor mahogany should be treated with a little more attention. It shouldn't be placed in an area that acquires a lot of sunlight, but is ideal as a bench or chair or table in a shady patio area. It should also be oiled seasonally or on an as needed basis

 

 

 

WARRANTY 

DEFECTS- A Full 12 (Twelve) months warranty against defects

Dress-R-Home LLC provides a 12-month warranty on all furniture. All you need to do is provide your receipt. . Dress-R-Home LLC will willingly replace or repair any item purchased from us that should become defective during this 12-month period. A defect is defined as a flaw that would impair the use of the product. This warranty does not apply to everyday wear such as weathering or normal wear and tear which occurs through regular use of the product. This warranty does not apply to loss, theft, or damage caused by improper use, negligence, misuse, accidents, or any acts of nature such as flooding or fire. It also does not apply to any infestation. Should a defect occur, Dress-R-Home LLC requires evidence of the defect- more specifically a photograph (sent digitally through e-mail or through regular mail) so that we are able to determine how to replace or repair the item. The cost of such evidence (including the mailing) is the responsibility of the customer.

 

DAMAGE - If the items have been damaged during shipment, a damage claim is filed. We will then replace the item for you providing that the damage error was on the part of the shipping company. We recommend that you inspect all packages before accepting them on delivery. Please note any damage to delivery agent. This will help to ensure that the damages were caused by the shipping company, and not by the receiver of the delivery. FAILURE to do so will result insurance against damage being made void. If the item is returned to us and a damaged claim has been filed and you chose not to accept a replacement; we will continue to pursue the claim and once we have received settlement from the carrier a refund will be issued.

 

RETURNS - 10 Day Money Back, No Questions Asked Return Policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Dress-R-Home for any reason, we will gladly accept those items back for a refund. Dress-R-Home will charge a flat delivery and restocking fee of 20% of the total customer invoice for customers outside of WA State and 10% of the total invoice for WA state customers.. However, Items must be repackaged in original packaging and undamaged at time of return..

Dress-R-Home LLC is not responsible for any refinishing of defective furniture if any finishing product has been applied other than what is recommended .The warranty will become null and void.
